Therapy Achievements was formed in May 2008 by Karen Allen Hislop with the goal of helping people with disabling conditions re-gain their independence through the use of specialty therapy services. Karen earned a bachelors of science in occupational therapy in 1984 and masters in business administration from Troy State University in 2002. Since 1984, she has worked with people with edema, lymphedema, stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and many other disabling conditions. She has acquired extensive training and in her field has obtained certifications as a Driving Rehab Specialist, Adaptive Technology Practitioner, Lymphedema Therapist, Neuro-Developmental Treatment practioner, and Saeboflex Technology practionier. This makes her uniquely qualified in her field.
